Emergency Drain Clearing

Blocked drains are unwelcome in any circumstance especially if a toilet is overflowing or an inspection chamber backing up into your property. The majority of Defluo’s vehicles are fitted with high pressure water jetting machines. All have the latest technology and equipment to clear any blockages quickly and efficiently meaning that for you service downtime is kept to a minimum. Our vans all carry ‘Aqua Vacs’ and sanitizers to allow us to clear up and sanitize the area once the problem has been fixed.

Sink Unblocking

Whether it is a kitchen, basin or bath sink, we do not believe in pouring acid down to try and clear a blockage as this can cause more problems than it solves. We will instead remove the traps to clear the debris and then use a hand held rotary machine to ensure that the rest of the waste pipe is clear.

Blocked Drains

In many circumstances the main drain can be blocked for several weeks before you realise you have a problem. Defluo will clear your drains creating the minimum disruption and mess. Once cleared will try to identify the cause of the blockage and will advise you as to whether any further works are required in order to prevent the problem reoccurring.

Toilet Unblocking

Our extensive range of van stock means that we can solve just about any blockage problem with the minimum of fuss. All of our drainage engineers carry specialist equipment on board their vans.

Water Jetting

The majority of our drainage vans have high pressure water jetting machines on board which means we can clear drainage problems quickly without the need to bring in specialist equipment from our depot. We have invested in the latest technology which means that our high pressure jetting machines pump out 5,000 psi which is on a par with far bigger machines which are more expensive to employ.

Flooding and Pumping

All vans carry a large amount of stock giving us a 96% first time fix rate or at least enough to isolate leaks and prevent damage until the right materials become available. Once we have pumped and cleaned the flooded area we have sanitizers on vans to make the area clean and safe.

Sewage Problems

Sewage problems are dealt with quickly and professionally. Our strength is our ability to identify the cause of the problem. We will always assess the thoroughly as experience tells us there is often a better solution to solving the problem than might first appear. We are also able to advise you on what drains are your responsibility and what falls to the responsibility of the local council.

Mains Drains

Defluo has found over the years that no two sewer jobs we get called out to are the same. We often find considerable differences between the amount of corrosion levels and the amounts of sewerage build up. There are many different types of build up in sewers and drainage systems too. These many types of materials and blockages will require different types of action on our part. For many blockages high pressure water jetting is the answer.

Drain or pipe jetting is a very powerful tool in the drain unblocking process. We send high psi jets of water through the drain down into the sewer in order to move any debris that may be blocking the movement of water in the drain pipes. Drain jetting is not always needed. Sometimes we can use drain rods to clear blockages but in many cases jetting is the way to go. We can unblock all types and sizes of drains and furthermore we at Defluo take safety very seriously so whenever we undertake a drain jetting project we do so under strict health & safety guidelines.

Gutters & Downpipes

At Defluo we will clear down gutters and downpipes using plant and machinery specially designed for the job. If the gutters or down pipes need replacing we are able to do this ourselves without needing to call out a subcontractor.

Root Removal

Defluo have invested heavily in machinery and have specialist equipment designed to cut roots from drains.

CCTV Camera Inspections

Defluo can offer an advanced CCTV survey or inspection for drains and pipes.
We use CCTV camera surveys is to identify the source of a problem and the reason for any reoccurrence.

The clarity of the images we provide to you of your internal and external drainage pipes is second to none and provides you with the information of any potential problems with your drainage system. Armed with this information we are able to advise the customer of the most suitable course of action to solve the problem.

Manholes

Broken and rusted manhole covers and drains are dangerous as the invert depth is deep and could become a health and safety issue. We can replace manhole covers and frames with new.

Lining & Excavation

If a drain is clasped or our CCTV surveys reveal some joints are collapsed or broken, we will excavate or line the drains, whichever is the most cost effective option or the preferred choice of the customer.

Drain Installation

“Soak-aways” have a finite life and if required we can replace them ensuring that the works are completed in line with current legislation.
